Amy Carey (MSW, LICSW) and Arlen Carey (PhD, LICSW) are licensed clinical social workers who have over twenty-five combined years of practice experience. Bridget Skyhawk, (MSW, LGSW) is a licensed graduate social worker with over five years of experience working in the mental health field. Each of us enjoys working with children and adolescents as well as adults of all ages.
Amy Carey earned her MSW in Clinical Social Work from the University of St. Thomas/St Katherine. Before beginning work as a psychotherapist, she worked for Rochester Public Schools and Olmsted County Adult Mental Health Services, and other social service organizations in the St. Cloud, MN area. She has training and experience utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Mindfulness Techniques.
Arlen Carey earned a PhD in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin and an MSW in Clinical Social Work from the University of Central Florida. He has practiced clinical social work in Florida, Louisiana, and Maine prior to moving to Minnesota. He is Associate Professor of Social Work for Winona State University--Rochester. He has training and experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Non-Directive Play Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, and Neurotherapy. He specializes in using a holistic approach to help people heal from trauma.
Bridget Skyhawk earned her MSW in Clinical Social Work from the University of New England. She has training and experience using Mindfulness techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Neurotherapy. She enjoys incorporating creative arts and mindful movement into therapy. With a holistic trauma-focused approach, Bridget seeks to provide a safe and validating environment to heal the sequela of trauma and empower survivors to live their lives to the fullest extent.
